- An editable document or native presentation with source notes, a durable preview, and final-format QA.
- An editable spreadsheet with reconciled inputs, inspectable formulas, and validation checks.
- A dashboard with the underlying data and calculation logic.
- A browser recording that shows the completed workflow.
- A decision packet with evidence, exceptions, and an approval request.
Match the proof to the work
| Work | Useful proof |
|---|---|
| Code | Tests, type checks, lint, build output, and a reviewed diff |
| Research | Cited sources, claim checks, source conflicts, and coverage notes |
| Data | Row counts, schemas, reconciliations, formulas, and invariants |
| Interfaces | Screenshots, a focused walkthrough, or a recorded interaction |
| Operations | Before and after state, system receipts, logs, and exception history |
| Documents and Office files | Source mapping, redlines, formula or slide checks, durable preview, and final export review |
A persuasive summary cannot replace evidence, and a source file cannot prove its own rendering. Ask for the checks, receipts, citations, previews, or recordings that let a reviewer inspect the result quickly.
The accepted artifact
Completed work remains reviewable in the run and available as a retained artifact. Once accepted, that artifact is the canonical deliverable for the job, which is what stops a later working copy from quietly replacing it.
